I finally bit the bullet and ordered a regular copy of Paint Shop Pro. The crack file I had didn't work on the new download and rather than go searching for a new one, I thought it was about time I just paid for the software. I've been using it forever.

I have to mention that I went to a really cool place for dinner last night called The Melting Pot. I took my friend Jen there for her birthday. We had such a good time and the fondue experience is soooooo neat. Yum! The online menu doesn't list everything to choose from, as both of us got the vegetarian platter for an entree. Other than the obnoxious dead cow head above our table, I give the place a thumbs up.

I did a bad bad thing today. I managed to accidentally dump my laptop onto the floor and break it. I was sitting on the sofa and had to get up so I put it aside and stood up except the power cord caught on something and the laptop was pulled to the floor. Luckily not the hardwood but on the rug. Still though, I managed to break one of the hinges that holds the screen up and pop up off a bottom panel. I got the panel back on but it's loose, and I can't shut my laptop. :-( Tom didn't seem pleased about it and I have no idea how much it will cost to repair. Dammit. In addition, it's been a crappy day all around. Laptop and all.
